we can use the titration method or the "acid with excess insoluble oxide or carbonate" to retrieve salt from a reaction. as both methods are ways of getting soluble salt back, how can I differentiate when to apply each method??
titration is for 2 aqueous reagents to react to form a soluble salt.
titration also cannot add excess
titration is for sodium, potassium or ammonium salts only
titration mostly for 2 aqueous reagents (which may also be salts themselves or 1 acid 1 alkaline)
adding diluteĀ acid to metal/metal oxide/metal hydroxide/metal carbonate can only be used if the substance can react with dilute acid
