New purchase Lenovo Flex 20 (All-In-One) computer, battery self-discharge very fast after completely shut down, will drop about 25 % per day, means if I on my computer after 24 hours, battery left 75%, 50% after 2 days, totally flat after 4 days.
Call support hotline, troubleshooting on: energy management, BIOS setting, unplug all usb devices after shut down, different ways of shut down, remote controlled by Lenovo representative, even change the new battery, problem still the same. All the representatives are not professional and just keep on asking you do you try to adjust the energy management… what the hell !!!
As told by the engineer who replaced the new battery for me, Lenovo Flex series computer all have such problem as I mentioned, but I not agree with what he said.
Post some messages on Lenovo forums for some survey, but adminstrator deleted all my message, and banned me from the forum.
Wondering how 'good' is the Lenovo after sales service...
Lenovo, if you like to play this type of dirty game, I make sure I will follow until the end. I will post in all forums, and make sure all people see my posting, and aware how ‘good’ is your service....
the following link is the only left topic in the Lenovo forums, rest all been deleted by adminstrator.
If others don't have this issue, you may have a lemon, change it.
Problem is I requested for 1 to 1 exchange, but Lenovo not accept, they say I highlight the problem after 7 days, I told them this problem was exist since I buy this computer.
They sucks, just send technician to replaced with new battery, the problem still not been solved.
The place you bought it from doesn't help?If a factory reset too doesn't work,I am afraid it's broken.
TS, do you know that Lenovo has a service center in Singapore? Why didn't you bring your whole laptop to their company to find out what is the problem 'again'? Their address : 9 Changi Business Park Central 1, The IBM Place 2. Singapore 486048. Alternately, you can find for their other service center in their website : http://www.lenovo.com/contact/sg/en
And do remember to bring your purchase receipt along if you want to prove that your laptop is within warranty, otherwise I believe there is charge involved even if you didn't want to continue repair.
I know the Singapore Lenovo Service Centre,
( 170 Upper Bukit Timah Road, #05-06/07 Bukit Timah Shopping Centre)
But it's far from my home, it takes more than 2 hour just to send my computer to the Service Centre. (2 ways)
somemore I have 1 year on-site warranty, why I don't use it?
Send to Service Centre for repair, after change motherboard, problem still same. They told me seems like motherboard design problem,
Problem can not be solved! Lenovo Flex 20 Designer Sucks!
Maybe you should consider another brand the next time.
send an email to the CEO
Good suggestion, anybody have Lenovo higher management/CEO email address?
Sure! No more buying Lenovo product from now onward.
mom recently bot a lenovo
no problem with it
Are you using it to play game or have an bad habit : e.g never switch off the main power when using the laptop and just close the laptop's cover and left it for long time?

Using computer for about 20 years already,
the behaviors you mentioned above won't be happen to me.
yeah, sometimes problem is between keyboard and chair
Send my computer for repair, Lenovo service centre inform me computer is ready for colletion after 20 days .
I was so happy, i tot my computer problem was solved.
When I test the computer in service centre, it was battery flat, can not power on. problem still same as before.
As told by technician that motherboard of this model(Flex 20) originally was design for desktop PC, however the designer come out some ideas to modify the motherboard, combine the battery and touch screen, then Flex 20 was born.
Even the computer is shut down, but some of components in motherboard still running, that's why battery always been drained.
Sucks, I regret to spend S$1199 for buying this immature produce, and waste me so much time.
if u do wish yr batt power drained. just remove the batt.

Very tire to talk with you leh~~~~~
you don't know can on the computer and see the battery percentage meh???
You better don't reply anymore, I'm sick of answering your question.
my toe nails laughing
completely shut down still can see battery percentage?
'completely shut down' just to inform the reader:
The way I turn off my computer is completely shut down, NOT in a sleep/hibernate mode, so that reader won't be question on me, and 'completely shut down' should NOT drain off battery by right.
Do u see the Flex 20? It just looks like a big size ipad, 19.5" touch screen. I bought this computer because it's portable, so I can carry it to anywhere and use it.
Due to battery self discharge problem, I need to charge battery before I can use it, its so troublesome, have you see any NEW laptop need to be re-charge battery if only 4 days no been use?
Of course you can not see battery level when computer is off, in order to see it you still can on the computer just to check the battery percentage, it takes less than 2 mins to start up, and less than 1 min to shut down, and the battery level won't drop so much during start up and shut down .
So, am I answer your question.
