Looking to move for at least a few years for the experience etc etc.
Anyone have info or been through the process of specific job search (any particular websites); applications for all the visas etc (so confusing!). And how the general process goes- interviews; visa applications/ease of having employers apply for visa on your behalf.
I'm in the social services/research sector, with Masters qualifications. Worried that our standards here are not as high, but that's also part of why I'd want to move- to build the experience. Considering furthering studies in the long run too.
Accomodation etc is fine as I could rent a place with friends who are local, probably add name to lease to build credit rating. Have a pretty good grasp of the living costs.
Banking I would probably consider opening account from here (CITI/HSBC)
I'm 35 and flying solo.
Any input to make it clearer would be much appreciated! There seems to be much conflicting info when I check online!
Thanks much!
Why that place out of so many other places? How's the rent there like? I'm sure you have done some research at least?
Have worked/lived in Europe. Would be nice to be somewhere where they speak English ;-) Yes done rent/living expenses research etc.
But interested in information re: the job application process as a Singaporean going over. Friends there are local and not able to help out much with the process
