i have to work this Saturday. Got a Costco project to clear.
Aftermath of today's snowfall !
Guess what???! When we woke up this morning, there was frost on rooftops! Our Interstate 8 was slick and 500 motorists had to be escorted off the I-8 for the roads to be salted and cleared. The two closest towns to me had 2 and 4 inches of snow, respectively. A tall fir tree in my neighbourhood was blown over and landed on a neighbour's rooftop. This is the coldest day San Diego's seen in a long long while, the result of a freak storm that started yesterday.
Sorry for the badly taken pix. I was driving and couldn't stop because someone was behind me. You can see the fallen tree on the extreme left.
jetta any other site seeing to do that are "Free" or low cost? a lot of place have enterance fees that use to be free like huntington garden use to be free in 89 now there are fees.

hey Jetta, you plan on staying in SD for long? Too bad both my grandparents have passed away already, they used to live in SD. But that all seems like such a long time ago... like it was all a dream, I used to love to wake up early in the morning to smell the really fresh air...
MG, what's with all the phallic symbols?

Sorry dude, how about looking up www.signonsandiego.com? Balboa Park is a nice place to walk around. Among other attractiions, the Natural History Museum's there. Admission to the science centre costs about $8. To save money, you could buy the Entertainment book. Lots of buy one get one free deals in the book. Public beaches are free but parking is a premium so get there early. What are you interested in partaking of?

Thanks, skid!
Actually, the organizers of the gunshow do not allow photography at the event. What's even sillier, in my opinion, is the fact that they also don't allow CCW... at a gunshow!!!

I've always had an interest in architecture, and had actually contemplated pursuing a career in that field. In fact, when I decided to come stateside for my undergrad studies, I had submitted applications to a number of architectural colleges in addition to the compsci ones.
