Fog, fog, fog. For the past couple of days the fog's been sooo thick in the mornings. It's really scary to drive when you can't see too far ahead of you but yet you have to drive.

we had heavy fog last weekend too.
but this week has been so pleasant....on the plus side, except that yesterday was really windy!
with the rain and warm weather, snow melted liao. now the streets are cleared!

This current cold snap is getting ridiculous. It's currently -4°F (-20°C) outside, and the low tonight is expected to get down to -16°F (-27°C).

However, we're supposed to get up into the lower 30s by Sunday--is a similar warming trend on the cards for TO too? -
Rain, rain and more rain. We had a few days of rain. That landslide in La Jolla's gotten a little worse because of it. We are expecting more rain this weekend. I welcome the rain because we don't get enough here.

I just got off the phone with dearling ...... she was walking to school .... in a january blizzard ... I could barely hear her for the howling wind ..... I'm so worried for her ...

Hmm... We don't have extremes here so I think you'd be bored since it's 95% sunshine and 5% rain here. -

snow with temps just above freezing = slush ...then overnight when the city snow plows come it makes a berm where the driveway meets the street...then the temp drops 20 degrees and it turns to ice.
spent all morning chipping away at it!by all morning I mean about 45 min
