I doubt so. Most modern vehicle engines are designed to be able to run with a certain percentage of ethanol in the fuel (up to 15% , if memory serves); "flex fuel" vehicles, like the ones sold by Chevrolet, can operate with fuel containing up to 80% ethanol.Originally posted by Arapahoe:does the ethnanol damage the engine in the long run?

yesterday when to the gas pump the cheaperest i found is $3.25 other pump near my place is 3.37.
I already put in near 100 this week.

btw...cheapest in the nation was not too far from from MG....$2.39/gal in Hamel, MN
near the end of March I'm taking a train trip to eastern Montana....let's hope rising fuel prices won't increase what already seems like a high ticket price. ($86 one way)

Good Gawd. It's going up every single day. The most expensive pump station here is charging $4.01 for unleaded. Here at my Costco, it's $3.25. On the base it's $3.17.
