my last practice before going for cello exams now....
i'm so nervous i hope i dun breakdown later...
I was practising last nyt and finally broke down, hugged my cello and cried. worried i'll play wrong notes, didnt do my sight-reading well. tho i've memorized my pieces from front to back and back to front, i made alot of mistakes when practising with my piano accompanist. dun even know how can i play wrong notes and make mistakes and forgot my piece.
pinning high hopes i'll have big disappointment. so i'm trying to tell myself not to think abt getting distinction.
ARGH! I'm trembling now!! my mind is blank. I've never never been so nervous for an exam before, not even for my A levels or final exams presentation.
I will do well. i will do well......... and remember to breathe.

alright. Done and over.
halfway through my second piece, my score flew away coz of the aircon directly above mi, it was too unexpected and i stopped. Three tyms. it happened three tyms and i replayed it thrice. Not sure if that left a bad impression.
But overall, i think i played well and now i am walking on air. I had enjoyed myself, tho at that tym it was ghastly for mi, this experience stood mi in very gud stead for my future.
This exam made mi more mindful of wat i was doing, very conscious of my own capabilities. For now, i am not afraid of the results anymore, or if i am gud enuff.

Yes i do hope so too. But, well, even if i wasnt given a distinction this round, in my heart of hearts i knew i'd keep getting better, develop a fearless love for performing and have a great career in future.Originally posted by the Bear:mmm... cello...

heh. i dunno wat i love abt him too. perhaps, it've got to do with my life-tym ambition -- music producer. or perhaps its his character that attracted mi. and his straightforwardness.
My list of perfect criteria for a man (and surprisingly xiao song matches perfectly):
1. Tall with gud fashion sense.
2. Nice hands.
3. Nice voice.
4. Gets on with gf's parents
5. Ambitious.
6. Fits into my idea of not getting married, or rather, fearful of marriage (Song couldnt convince himself that he'd wanna get married, and i dunwan to get married anywayz)
7. Someone who either likes to talk or likes to listen.
8. Lives in Taiwan and is involve in the music industry.
9. 35 years old and above.
And my last criterion is important: 10. I like my space alot. So much so that i typically live along in my own quiet areas. (Identically, Song held the same criterion in this too.)
Not for xiao bo tho. they are twins but totally different in many ways.
I believe in Fate. And I'm going Taiwan next year Sept!!! Heh. -
