Vivo City's No-Flush Toilets Stinks!

For some time already, the guys' urinals do not have water flush.
Its so called No-Flush Eco-Friendly Biotechnology that does require water to flush the urinals but it's making the toliets so stinky.
Usually, the toilets located at the highest level of a mall will tend to be cleaner compared to the ground level toilets. But for Vivo's case, the toilet is smelly at every pathetic level!
The saving water No-Flush urinals really cannot work!

High tech until now Vivo toilet smells like a hawker centre toilet.
Water is still the best medium for toiletbowls. Dont know which smart pants idea remove flushing. -

i agree vivo city toilet very dirty .. the female toilet smell bad too .. and the sanitary napkin disposal never empty .. eeeek ..

Urine is high in nitrates, compounds high in nitrogen and oxygen. Ammonia is made up of nitrogen and hydrogen. (NH3) What you are smelling is the high concentration of bonded nitrogen.
Normally, diluted urine doesn't have much odor. If you're dehydrated and your urine becomes highly concentrated, it can have a strong ammonia smell. (Source - Mayo Clinic) -

and the water in the S/P trap traps the smell within the system...

what nonsense sia no flush. than how sia, what chemical they use and how they use. isn't it better to use water rather than chemical, its still cheaper right? and aren't chemicals more harmful on the environment than water?

I don't recall having any bad experience at Vivo's washrooms. They are pretty comfortable. I mean in terms of cleanliness.

it's smelly if the pee is on the walls of the urinal. if your pee is diluted and you pee at the wall, it'll slither/slide/travel down into the hole. some unker they pee is straight to wall one some more so yellow hence it stays there only. hence, the stench!

the only gripe i have with the toilets there is their light blue and white tiles. it's such a wrong choice of colour for a toilet! so many footprints!

I gotta agree that the Vivocity toilets stink to high heaven.
In the first place, urine is usually free of microorganisms unless you already have a urinary tract infection.
For all the high-tech no flush systems.... if the urine lingers on the urinal wall, you will inevitably get an accumulation of ammonia. And ammonia, as anyone knows, stinks.
I always skip the urinals and go for the cubicles as a result.

Agree in this case, I went doen there today and did check it out. You guys are correct. It stink bad.......
