Hi there,
A friend of mine intro me into forex. He says it's the easiest way to invest and earn money. Becos it opens 24/5. Dived into it and got burnt very badly. However, I'm still very interested in this. I am thinking of going for a forex course to understand in depth about the pairs, indicators and all the other stuff, before I enter the market again.
Anyone has any recommendations?

I applied for a relatively affordable course over the weekend, introduced by another trader. Apparently, he was losing money until he attended this course. Best part is it's cheap! I'm starting tonight! Have to be there early to collect notes and stuff. Hope it turns out well!
Hello bright_up,
Forex could be challenging for investments. However, as it is a volatile market, you may not want to face such huge risks. Depending on your appetite for risks and challenge though. However, if you are looking into something less risky and profitable, drop me a mail and I can share with you on other opportunities out there, you probably are not exposed to:)
regards

I dont want to kill your enthusiasm, but most retail (=consumer) traders lose money in forex. So be careful how you trade and dont start real trading before you "make money" in your test account.
I have tested with a group of professionals (both traders and software engineers) for about a year a whole list of stretgies, inclusing those found in many "famous" forex books. The bad news: they dont work.
Can eloborate but only if peopel are interested.

I have been playing demo for months and earn quite alot, then i jump into the real thing with real money but lost 150 cause i was greedy. Top up another 150, have been 2months and is still surviving, but not making much profit.
I got this 1 friend who have his own brokerage with 5 traders with total 50 years of experiences. He jio me to put money in his brokerage and let his traders help me trade. He says when people like me lose money, the money are won my these big traders. The time frame of trading is 6months and total returns including capital is 120% - 140%. Minimal 50% capital will be protected. But the minimal capital to put in is 6.5K, i dont have that much but i can get afew friends to chip in. Main point is that I just want to ask you guys if this % of profit in this time frame is acheiveable or not?

It is not as easy as the public think, if it is so, everybody can trade and work no more.
I am really interested in learning as well, but i guess getting a mentor is the best way to learn. was hoping that someone in this forum would teach me :(
