1. Bring your own water instead of buying drinks outside. (healthier option too)
2. Go to malaysia for shopping
3. Remind yourself that every cent counts(it really does!)

I am facing some short-term cash shortfall because i did not have the habit of saving.
This is my 1st time i need $700 for my mum's medical expenses. I have been going to banks to get a personal loan, but due to my low income i can't get a personal loan. I really need to go to licensed moneylenders
My friends adviced me to compare rates from this website https://www.onelyst.com/compare-loans
Have you all tried this website before?
Use the envelope money system! Google it!
Save money?
Don't buy useless things you don't need. I started saving almost $1.8k a year after quitting smoking.
You can read about the economics of quitting smoking here in my blog:

How to save money?
Well this is famous topic, everybody want to make money. Hard to earn and EASY to spend. I dont know the best way but to me honestly ONLY spend on what we ONLY need and this is very important in order to save your money. Only URGENT/IMPORTANT things come first in our daily transaction.
NEVER overlimit your portion, NEVER so " so so ", If you want to use money better think ROI? Businessman always think like this maa?
I think its important to focus on growing wealth as apposed to saving money. You'd be surprised how many business can be started with $0. Saving money is an old school of thought. Here are some examples of $0 businesses.
1) Writing Captivating Blogs on things you are passionate about and driving advertorials
2) Affiliate Marketing with Amazon, Ebay, Qoo10
3) Outsourcing services with websites like Fiverr
These are just a few references.
There's a Free Workshop I went to last week that gave good perspectives on that!

I have to agree with JoelJG that its important to focus on growing wealth as apposed to saving money. If you hold a job, there's always a limit to the amount of money you can save.

Hi, i am actually new here and came across this post.
For me, i have a habit of saving my coins everyday. As i usually use notes and tend to have lots of coins in my wallet, i tend to save my coins into the piggybank daily (usually $1, $0.50. You will be surprised by how much you can actually save.
Another way of saving is through cashback shopping. Recently i found a way of saving money while shopping online, and it has a huge range of products.
Recently, i found out a way to get up to 15% cashback while shopping online - electronics, beauty, fashion and groceries. The cashback percentage varies for the different items and some might not be a lot to you, but you save the time of traveling as well.
This is how you do it.
1. Go to sg.shop.com/tianyi95
2. Search for partner stores and select the partner stores you wish to buy from. Or simply search for the product you are looking for.
3. Sign up for an account and enjoy your cashback!
Examples of partner stores are:
Zalora, Banana Republic, RedMart, Charles and Keith, Challenger, Courts and lots more.
You can also save money by bringing your own lunchbox to work or school!
I hope this helps! (:
