  most of the time call cant get through N the control center ppl r very rude!

  that why they switch to grab n easy!

  And sadly, all these at the expense of cabbies, that is why, sometime, I hate to take calls, these companies are making money out of cabbies slogging and no show disappointment, we are being fully exploited by all these farking companies, and yet in the midst of it, cabbies are challenging each other over your calls and my calls, which is better and which is good. But the ironic is that, we are all in the same shit, different hole only

  Let me give a view on uber taxi :

  Uber is now trying to capture the market mass (both pax and taxi drivers)

  On Pax side :

  Currently giving 25% discount on total fare

  Having free ride promotion (today) , fare will be paid by uber

  On Taxi drivers side:

  Currently giving $5  incentives for every pax pick up

  ------

  All transactions are cashless, you need not collect, fare will be automated credited into UBER's account, Uber will reimbursed you later

  The bad point is the payment turnaround, cut off time for calculating payment is monday 4am every week, thereafter amount will be TT into your account abt 2 ~ 3 days later.  Meaning, you may need to wait up to 10days to get money after fetching the pax

  It had announced on its Facebook page that each passenger using its apps uberX and uberTaxi can get two free rides up to midnight. But those who cancel their bookings will have to pay a cancellation fee of $6 for uberX and $2 for uberTAXI.

  
  

  This was the latest promotion rolled out here by Uber, which had earlier offered a 25 per cent discount for users last month.

  
  

  Uber started operations here last year in an increasingly crowded taxi app market, joining competitors Easy Taxi and GrabTaxi.   This is a typical roti prata system, if LTA is going to allow all these to create their own marketing strategy without a fair competition, then I think our govt are losing grip on the transport system of Singapore. There can never be a system that punish one side due to out of regularities and support the other side careless of what regulations
