Yesday during smoke break met a td at bedok
He told me cdg continuously losing around 20 000 calls/adv bk due to the competition fm the new apps
I also dunno how he know all tis,he's a young chap in late 30s drivng i40

This one no tia kong one hor, directly from head of cdg call centre. So, I asked her, so how is it looking forward, she told me, pax still call cdg, but when cdg no taker, they will use apps, apps is still a second choice for pax, however, apps are gaining traction in advance booking, there is nothing much can do when you are talking about advance IT innovation. Gentlemen, the taxi trade in singapore is still vibrant, we do not need to bother abt call or apps, the share is huge enough for all, or even supersede us that we still have the luxury to ignore a few calls or apps booking, therefore, the impact of whether apps or cdg calls is not going to change much, what will change is when economy go into a deep recession, if that happen, you think people will call or use apps booking? and most of us TD will be sweeping and cutting each other out. So, not to bother nor worry abt apps or calls, as TD, our priorty is to keep the meters jumping, more happily if both the big and small meter LED figures keep moving. That is our objectives, not go around and talk about whether apps is good or cdg call is down...even if cdg today close shop, it got nothing to do with you, and for that matter, you and me still have to drive on

Today standard 7 consider alot liao, limpek only 3...but depend lor, some still have to support a young family, some got gambling habit, some overspending habit...then hv to take more calls, but during peak hrs, I find sweeping more better than taking call..intake

Show exit door show lor...if not how TC and other taxi companies can get drivers?? and to be frank, those get show the door by cdg are at time a blessing..if not they will still be driving cdg for that piece of toilet paper..tio bo..there is nothing wrong in termination of contract, you can also terminate cdg contract by throwing key = to them terminating yr contract by asking you to hang over the key. Terminate, just walk out, smoke a stick, go for a day off to celebrate, tomorrow join TC or silver or smrt, drive again, maybe as relief first while waitng for yr new K5, renault and chevy, no different right.

Then come find me lor..still got van, lorry, casket driving mah, the other day, I was at Glenneagle hosiptal, again the same HR guy talk to me and ask me to be their staff driver, morning pick, afternoon buy some lunches, even pick them go back..then drive home..pay 2,500 negotiatable..

I just went to Easy Taxi to collect my taxi decal and the Oncall Sign. Now it's easier for pax to look out for me.

I drove one cdg with 2 grab taxi logos on side window...cdg officer ask me,...uncle how can put competitor logo..i said this if free mah, for blocking sun cannot meh?? cdg also never supply sun block or shade...knn

From perspective from a consumer, I prefer the apps. But I am sure the call market will never die because apps need to register etc very lehceh.
Like limo drivers most use i-Changi, flight radar etc but sometimes app breakdown call hotline most reliable.

the taxi apps i heard comfort don't allow.is it true?which is better Grab taxi or Easy taxi?most i liked is bcos they have destinations compared to comfort don't want to put destinations!

In principle, cdg do not encourage its driver to use, but it is only a guidelines, not a rules, cdg understand the implication of apps, as I said before, you cannot stop technology, like last time army n school also cannot take hp,...now can liao, but within a certain regulations. Cdg managements do not work in a way of a must in it policy, most of the time, they will rather face it than against it, so instead of putting a stringent regulation, they challenge it by looking at way to improve themselves, end up, the managements agreed that apps is a challenge that motivate them to improve, like showing destination and going for hp payment is a CIP project in cdg managments to improve it services both to pax and drivers. If cdg had not being so liberal, taxi industrial in singapore will not had gone privatisation

What those apps coy encounter will be just like another taxi coy encounter with their taxi fleets.....
Taxi coy tulan still can ask TD to return taxi.....
Apps coy tulan, suck cock only lor.....

Whether it is companies' calls or apps..it only give paxs more luxuries to exploit the system.
