My young punks also no money take taxi, but still take. When reach, if cabby is lao ren, just open door and cepat lari. If young cabby, just say no cash no card, pls wait for me while i go upstairs and get money. Pass cabby his pink ic but later tell police cabby detained it illegally.

This one, no TDVL teach you one. If need training, contact my ex chief or hammer, they slap and push the run fare farkers one...for me, just smile and let go..for them, nothing is gain, more to loose if I fell down..then my bak bak, my bank account, my property, my casket van...all finished

Uber rival GrabTaxi plans carpooling service in Singapore
Ride-hailing app GrabTaxi, which competes with Uber Technologies in South-east Asia, is planning to launch a carpooling service in Singapore, one of the most expensive cities in the world to own a car.
"GrabHitch hits the sweet spot for people who want a door-to-door transport service, but prefer not to pay a premium above public train or bus fares," Mr Tan Hooi Ling, co-founder of GrabTaxi, said in a statement on Wednesday (Nov 11).
Singapore, which levies high taxes on car owners, introduced rules for carpooling earlier this year, which allow the driver to accept compensation, either monetary or in kind, from the passenger but not for profit.
GrabHitch, which will be launched to all consumers in Singapore by end-2015, will compete with existing services and websites, such as Ryde and Tripda.
GrabTaxi, which counts a unit of Temasek Holdings, Japanese telecoms firm SoftBank and China Investment Corporation as shareholders, has raised about US$700 million since it was launched in 2012.

carpooling was been around for the past 20 years. NTUC co-op car sharing was one of the first in the market. I used to use their services. Car pooling and taxi provider are 2 different businesses. Not sure why grab needed to sideline into this, but its bad news if I were an investor.

Taxi app biz got limits to growth. With huge funding for all the aggressive marketing, I believe GrabTaxi and GrabCar biz has already hit the plateau phase. Self driving cars represents an opportunity for local taxi companies to change their practices and compete with taxi apps. The good thing is that autonomous taxis are incompatible with taxi app operations, requiring a taxi driver to bid for jobs, unless Grab wants to start their own fleet... So the end game scenario I envision is for Grab to merge into CDGE after proving its worth over the next couple of years. It is the fastest way to shut the mouths of those complaining about competition. The days of CDG taxi booking department staff are numbered. It will go the way of the manual ERP booths, most probably through natural staff attrition to avoid backlash.

No lah, mai luan luan kong lah, Cdg already joined with Karhooooooo... Grab bosses is temasek + a japan bank + a china firm investor, run by young IT gurus. As said before, before apps, cdg call was king, all other companies call was like shit, some MDT for show only, or act as mirror for yandao driver only. So, many call for taxis to hv a common call centre, but cdg rejected due to howlian + commerical issue aka violation. Altho Cdg is also under temasek, it also cannot do much due to regulations, so it take on grab so as to able to tap on all other taxi companies taxis to make more money. And Grab was formed after money was poured in..elite, ranger and airborne..or whatever was also introduced. Then Uber come into the picture. Grab saw Uber entry, scare like hell, quickly start grabcar, grabhitch..grabneh neh and whatsoever to counteract it. And a the same time, Govt bo yew lan and said, let the market forces decide, so all hell break loose, PR, malaysia, touting, no surcharge, high demand charges, no insurance, ah pig, ah seng, ah gu...ah bangala..ah neh..all come in. Then ah kau quickly tell ah Meng to go see..so now let see how ah meng is going to perform his first task as minister of state for transport.
