May I know if GT driver can also become GC driver using the same taxi?
I just want to share a kelong (a bug?) to the benefit of GC customers and drivers (you can share this with your friends and family too).
Just now, I tried out GT (cos never used it before) to book a cab to AP. I was told I could cancel it mah.... so no harm trying loh. I wanted to see how much it cost to go to AP from Shenton Way and how to cancel it mah. When I clicked go to find a cab... to my surprise, the next screen shows it propagating my booking BUT THERE WAS NO CANCEL BUTTON!!! KNN... got a shock cos don't want to sabo any poor taxi driver with false booking.... unfortunately a cabbie took the booking and then the cancel button appear and I pressed it (only 2 seconds after booking confirmed) immediately. Hope the cabbie won't fxxk me for cancelling immediately after booking.
However, to my surprise, immediately I received an email saying "Here's $8 off your next Airport trip with GRABCAR! Use promo code 'FLYSG' to redeem. Valid for a single trip from/to Changi Airport before 15 Sep 2015."
I"m wondering if this code could be used for GT booking as well. Anyway, since GRAB is reimbursing the GC (GT as well?) driver for the $8 discount code, then spread this kelong (or bug?) to friends / family members so that they could get discount and GC (GT as well?) drivers also benefit.
(Note: To all TDs here, pls don't fxxk me cos I'm just trying out this app as a consumer and later, will be taking TDVL. So I'm not out to sabo any TDs as I know being a TD is not easy and I'm trying to plan ahead how to earn a living with these apps).

Grabcar or Uberx?

Depend on the discount and perks given, sometime grabcar, sometime UberX, but no matter what, must make sure the discount is real and get through, and before the ride, must make note to driver abt the discount, otherwise, can end up in geyland calling police over a $5 discount issue one hor

So far, I've only seen TDs using GrabTaxi. Haven't seen one using both Uber Taxi and Grab Taxi. Maybe need 2 hps to do that. If I become a TD, passengers may see me using 1 hp for Grab Taxi, 1 for Uber Taxi and another Marbella GPS.
I'm still thinking where to place these 3 gadgets in the car....

Female won't expect to find yan dao uncle in taxi. When I was in China, wah piang, boarded a few driven by female who are slim, pretty, long hair, and fair skin type.

Not just customers release aeroplane. 4 weeks ago I was near W Hotel. No cabs... I use GT. Wah... one TD confirm liao. Wait wait estimated arrival time liao still no see cab. I call TD, knnccb, don't want to pickup. I called twice and same thing. 1st time use GT some more... damn dulan. Din know can complain then... else that TD sure kana fxxk by me big big...

I do all except EasyTaxi which is irritating. That means got GT, Uber, Hailo + Google Maps, lol
All in one Samsung phone. Can be done. Plus CDG's MDT.
Despite all these, I still see earnings dropping steadily. Pirates wave cannot be underestimated.... they are eating our lunch slowly.

If passengers desperate, all things go.... pirates or not. As long as safe and sound and cheap. But Uber banned in alot of countries with powerful Unions. Sg don't have such union leh...
But I think TD still king of the road cos can pick up any tom, dick and harry.

I have not tried Uber yet cos requires me to key in CC upfront which I was intimidated so didn't try. But quite freeky of Uber's "surge charge". Scared I also kana auto charged for booking and then cancel.

I think for TD, the best is stick to one apps, concentrate on it, be hopefully can become their elite and ranger, once you attained the status of elite/ranger, the calls will come in more. No use having Uber, grab, hailo, easy..alamak, remember, the most you can do is one job

Although I have so many apps but I only on GT most of the time. The others only in ulu places or past midnight, sometimes can get something from them.
So, yes. Should just concentrate on one app and become their tua pek kong if you can.

Uber sucks for dirvers - no destination, inaccurate pick up point with no building name, only address (for town area, this is shitty), frequent rider cancellations, foreign contact number listed(how to contact rider?), delayed payment, etc
So Uber's out for me. Now left with GT and Hailo.... yeah

I did one & pax need only pay 35ct after discount. He gave me $2 & don't want the change, lol
