If not elite, get 3 calls considerd very good liao. GT is useful for ulu places if only you can get it. Better chance at ulu places since less competition.

ulu place, u mean Lim Chu Kang, senoko and old tampines road? Singapore ulu places are getting lesser, limpek last time can easily take calls at changi village, nowaday, knn hv to wait at the india temple for ah neh aunties...phuixxx

GT calls depend on location wan not just for ulu place
but also must see wat day n timing
b4 evening peak hr steps in/changing shift timing got chance
like today Monday cannot expect much even cdg also bo
But now different game liao got new competitor come in
Those regular call pax are jumping ship lol

this one could be u very far fr the source,so they tempt u to AP trip,then within2 sec.quickly disappear.it's like a naked woman revealing her undies! -
Noticed something else about GC calls. When you are near a pickup point and you bid & can't get it.. but as you as move further away, the offer comes back. Why? Is it because they offer to their elites and rangers or commandoes, guardmen, ninjas, whatever & these guys cancelled the job? Happened many times.
In such cases, I simply ignore it.

Yesday took one gt call
on board pax show me a message fm he's hp abt grabcar $8 promotion thing
Then ask me afew questions
"uncle tis wan wat ah?"
"Gd or not?"
"cheaper than taxi?"
I replied "paiseh I dunno leh"
Think now if book grabtaxi a grabcar promotion message will prompt together
So pax got a choice to choose either one

Confirm lah. I already tired Ubertaxi. When I open the app, they pop a message that UberX is cheaper, swipe to the left to take UberX now.
Haven't tried GT, I think same technique, they copy each other.
After all, think about it, which one makes more money for the companies? For Uber, definitely UberX lah (20%). For GT, I guess the same but not sure how many % they eat.
So the trend is clear, these apps companies (and maybe SMRT & CDG and other taxi companies) will go for the most profitable venture and they will promote like mad. Slowly but surely pax will get sucked in.... so you know what will happen to TDs' earnings liao. Left mostly sweep pax and die hard taxi call booking fans to makan....
