Brothers, now raining season plus year end holidays, no need to go take so many calls lah..limpek yesterday drive until bo diesel, knn, thot $30 net can go hm liao...tiam tiam one up one down...ting ting non stop, last nite... from harbour front..one pax beg me to take him to AP, limpek told him, sorry, he angried, said he need a taxi,...I asked him to see my fuel meter, told him if he willing to push my taxi at MCE..I do not mind..then he apologised

SINGAPORE - The Land Transport Authority (LTA) will be regulating third-party taxi booking services such as GrabTaxi, Hailo and Uber from the second quarter of next year. This is to safeguard commuter safety and interests, the LTA said in a statement today. It will introduce a basic regulatory framework which is based on consultations with commuters, the National Taxi Association, taxi companies and third-party taxi booking services themselves over the past year. Under the framework, all third-party taxi booking services will be required to comply with five conditions: 1. Registering with the LTA Successful applicants will be granted a certificate of registration valid for three years. 2. Dispatching only licensed taxis and drivers holding valid taxi vocational licences This ensures that commuters are served by taxis and taxi drivers who are operating legally. 3. Specifying upfront all information fare rates, surcharges and fees payable These include the flag-down fare, distance and time rates, the booking fee charged by the service provider, and, where applicable, peak period and location surcharges. Alternatively, third-party taxi booking services can provide commuters with the option to set their user preferences to automatically reject certain types of taxis or taxis with certain fare rates and surcharges. Bidding and pre-trip tipping for taxi services will not be allowed. Booking fees charged by third-party taxi booking services cannot exceed the booking fees charged by taxi companies. 4. Not requiring passengers to specify their destinations before they can make bookings While the taxi industry has shared that knowing prospective passengers' destinations can encourage drivers to accept bookings, there are concerns that some taxi drivers may choose their passengers and avoid taking bookings to certain destinations. The LTA has thus decided that it should be left to commuters to decide if they want to provide this information. 5. Providing customer support services These include lost-and-found services and avenues for commuters to raise queries and complaints. -

If you have a private car (owned or hired from Prime, for eg), can you Grab or Easy or Hailo apps to take bookings if you have a TD license? That means, no need to drive a regular taxi but have a TD license?
Because you can get cheaper rent (about $55/day from Prime) to use with Uber. Looks attractive if can also use other apps to take bookings.

How to top up grab taxi credit for drivers ah?
Was told tat need to top up at inets machine n will take 2 days to process than can start to take call again
