  Oh I do get that.

  Its just like how I am constantly trying to get my mum to hop onto the smartphone bandwagon.

  Just so I dont have to spend 60 cents per sms to tell her from overseas: food is good.

  And I didnt realise overseas call were so expensive.

  I made an emergency 1 min call back to SG and it cost me >3 bucks.

  Lesson learnt.

  yah.. went to look at the 7-11s and Cheers... only have the candybar types...

  will keep looking.. i'll go to the ahbeng shops at Jurong East in a while

  Check other brands like Docomo (yes, there are sets for Singapore use), Haier or ZTC.
