  Spring has sprung, and Verne (voiced by Garry Shandling) and his woodland friends awaken from their long winter's nap to discover that a tall, green "thing" has mysteriously cropped up right through the middle of their home. Enter RJ (voiced by Bruce Willis), an opportunistic raccoon, who explains that the world beyond the hedge is the "gateway to the good life" where peculiar creatures called humans live to eat, rather than eat to live.

  i brought my friend's children to the cinema to watch this to let the parents have some time away from the brats (they be triplets and a baby)
  
  the movie was good.. bits for the children, a story in there for the adults, pretty good movie
  
  one of the morals of the story: Caffeine ROCKS!

  my favourite part for hammy is during late in the movie where he drank Mach 6 and the whole world came to a standstill.
