  most probably they will just use singapore as a reference, as seen before in many other movies who mentioned singapore before. it's not as though they coming here to film the movie.

  Of course I don't mean that they shot the movie on location here. But the Johnny Depp character did say something like, "Obviously you've never been to Singapore" in the first movie, didn't he? I thought that's to set up the plot for the second movie.
