Episode III is actually quite well-made, compared to the first two Prequel episodes. It is more story-driven like Episode V and has the most action sequences among all six episodes.
The hype surrounding it may have resulted in some disappointment among perfectionist fans, but on its own merits, it is a worthy conclusion to the Prequel Trilogy. This time round, compared to Lucas' known penchant for special effects, the plot is king and thankfully there are no distractions like Jar Jar Binks, pod races, and frolicking-in-the-field-with-grazing-alien-cows scenes to put fans off. Acting wise, Ian McDiarmid was impeccable as the dreaded conniving Chancellor Palpatine/Darth Sidious, and the other "Mc" Ewan McGregor gave a fabulous performance with the spot-on accent that made me believe Obi-wan would really age to become the character played by Sir Alec Guiness in the Original Trilogy.
My only gripe is perhaps the pivotal character of Anakin Skywalker could have been better played by some other more capable actor, though I must say I was rather impressed by Christensen's performance in another movie "Shattered Glass". -

a pity chewbacca and vader got so little screen time. but the yoda and darth sidious' lightsaber fight scene is impressive.

The relative mediocrities of the other 3 Jedi masters illustrate why Anakin was so miffed when he was not granted the title of Master in the Jedi Council. His skills were undoubtedly better than most of the masters there.
If Anakin did not survive, there would be no Darth Vader. And without Vader, all the six "Star Wars" movies would lose their meaning. Really. That's why Episode III was so much anticipated. Vader is the bad guy, but he is such a total kick-ass (and gets to become a hero as well) that many fans rooted for him and wanted to see how he came to be. -
Yeah. Sumore if Anakin didn't survive, None of The Jedi Council knows the true identity of Palpatine(Darth Sidious).

later on when I am order watched the video tape again and then again during the 90s re-make.
Of course also watch the episode 5 and 6.... that time i thought princess leia is the most beautiful women in the world. that was my pre-teen and early teen era.

i'l problably Hav to say Jedi's r Powerful. But in Ranks, Yoda. Bcoz he xperience being a jedi for hundreds of years n masters his force skills. In lightsaber duel, Yoda consist speed style dat we couldn't imagine. Yah...when Darth Sidious face Mace Windu...he gey siao gey siao de ma...act lik losin..thus can make anakin fall into e darkside...if he fight back n kill windu..den anakin might not becum Darth Vader as we all known leh....
Yoda did flee..cos he lost his clothes when fighting...remember? So feeling naked, he had to fled ma...
So finally conculsion, yoda did not lose...he still e best! -
