How do buddhist calculate their good deeds?

When one is practising Bodhicitta, I wonder who calculates good karma and bad karma. In ancient China, the traditional story was told that you will have two bottles, one for good deeds and one for bad deeds. Each time you do a good deed, you will put one colored stone inside one bottle, and when you do a bad deed, you put another colored stone inside another bottle. At the end of your life, you can measure how much good deeds you have done and how much bad deeds you have done.
However, if one is practising Bodhicitta, in another words, the Bodhisattva path, not only do you practise mindfulness of your daily action (be it body, speech, mind), you just practically avoid doing evil things in your life and practise doing good all the way. You don't care whether how much "good deeds" you have done, since you have realized "self-lessness", the truth being that good deeds are done to help sentient beings, instead of trying to help only yourself. By doing good deeds, we Budddhists would then need to dedicate all the good merits to all sentient beings.

I think we cannot trust ourselves to 'calculate' accurately.
What we think might be 'good' might actually be 'bad' and vice versa. So just live life and let them make the judgement when u're finished.

Anyone doing good for accumulation of merits is just plain selfish on the back of altruistic pretention. And anyone doing good hoping to improve his karmic wealth is also selfish and pretentious.

Ya..buddha is eternity as well. The bodies will age, pain, die, decay and disappear, while the eternal self same as buddha Gotama remains everlastingly beyond life & death. The continuation of eternity for the wellsome of all makes life so meaningful, enriching, enlightening and dearing. Waw! it never been so inexplicably lovely to know your buddha self, the universality, so amazing, you never die, wow! how's that like..wow! wow! wow!
