correction :-
1) Maitreya bodhisattva is still a last stage bodhisattva in Tusita/Contentment heaven, inner court. His 'pureland' is form on Earth when he come down to become our next Maitreya Buddha.
2) Lao Tzu: Father of Taoism, according to Chinese tradition, lived in the 6th century BCE, born 604 BC Zhou Dynasty. about the same era as Buddha, born 563 BCE or 623 BCE. i believe Buddha is earlier in the chinese calender, abt 3000 years back. Lao Tzu is a Pacceka(Solitary) Buddha. i.e. He was previously learning from a previous Buddha and couldn't gain enlightenment, until his next life.

Human sexuality or lust is not something very wrong or bad. It should be dealed with kindness. Obession with sex SLASH Obession with anythings else can create a lot of problems; such as - lack of mental clarity, compulsive behaviour that become out of control and carry out sexual misconduct acts that lead to emotional and social problems.
If you have this problem, then it is good to go seek counselling or do some chanting like Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa or practise meditation regularly.
As i have quote one or two months ago...
“ Lust is managed with right view regarding sexuality. Right view regarding sexuality is based in the perception of what his harmful sexual conduct and what is not. If we do not have a clear perception of what is harmful and not harmful in regards to sexuality, it will be difficult to manage lust.”
One has to practise to a certain level, then will they be able to manage and eventually cut defilement lust in a natural way and not on a repressive level.
Btw i don't think Buddha mentions Kundalini in the sutra?? but it is probably good to know something about it.
Buddha mentioned Kundalini and chakra in two of his earliest sutra.
The 14th century Guru Milrepa also wrote a book on kundalini.

I also initially felt her writing are masculine(straight in your face type), however, no matter, we judge the articles by it's own merits without too much adornments. We do paint our own stereotypes.
some one (male) who practices this type of thing says :
self - stimulation do not work
must have female element then can work
IF LIKE THAT CAN WORK NO NEED CONSORTS LIAO

Is there an English version on Buddha's mentioning of Kundalini Energy?
When one reaches the state of "emptiness", many mystical energy will be activated or felt. Buddhists are adviced not to be distracted should these phenomena arise.
Many individuals whose Kundalini has been unexpectedly unleashed DO NOT KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING, and the prevailing social ignorance about this multidimensional transformative process makes it hard to find medical or alternative health practitioners or spiritual advisors who recognize the symptoms, particularly when they are strongly physical. Many people know that the risen Kundalini flings open gates to all sorts of mystical, paranormal and magical vistas but few realize it can also dramatically impact the body. A large percentage of Shared Transformation subscribers have reported long bouts of strange illness as well as radical mental, emotional, interpersonal, psychic, spiritual and lifestyle changes. Over and again we hear stories of frustrating, sometimes desperate visits to doctors, healers, counselors, etc. who neither understood nor were able to help with the myriad pains and problems catalyzed by raging Kundalini.
The following are common manifestations of the risen Kundalini:

Kundalini will not lead to liberation. Yoga and kundalini existed before Buddha's time. It is also dangerous without progressive understanding of Dharma when releasing the energy of the unconscious.
In psycho- treatment history, there have been cases of unconscious-related paralysis and other mental problems related to uncontrolled Kundalini release.
Yoga and meditation (single pointed focus) should always be combined with mindfulness. This is to develop wisdom, letting go of attachments, good will, harmlessness and utilmately liberation.

Kundalini will lead to liberation with the proper understanding coupled with mantra chanting / meditation/ guru blessing/ dharma protector protection.
The Buddha achieved enlightenment in the same manner. Chakra and kundalini.

Before I started learning more about Buddhism, I did come across some articles on kundalini before lah.... but I wasn't aware that Buddha got awakened via chakra and kundalini practice.
Am quite curious.... in which sutra did the Buddha teach that he achieved enlightenment via chakra and kundalini practice? To my knowledge, he didn't attain attain his three knowledges via kundalini.
I tot buddha attain enlightenment via awareness of breathing meditation?
Shakyamuni Buddha had preached about Kundalini and Several sutras mentioned it.

Before the Buddha reached Awakening and attained the Three Knowledges, he primarily practised mindfulness of breath meditation (Anapanasati), and he practised it frequently after his Awakening too.
From the Dipa Sutta : The Lamp
http://www.accesstoinsight.org/tipitaka/sn/sn54/sn54.008.than.html"This is how concentration through mindfulness of in-&-out breathing is developed & pursued so as to be of great fruit, of great benefit.
"I, too, monks, before my awakening, when I was an unawakened bodhisatta, frequently remained with this abiding. When I frequently remained with this abiding, neither my body was fatigued nor were my eyes, and my mind, through lack of clinging/sustenance, was released from fermentations.
From the Icchnaṅgala Sutta
http://www.accesstoinsight.org/lib/study/recollections.html#passage_40Then the Blessed One, emerging from his seclusion after three months' time, addressed the monks: "Monks, if wanderers of other sects should ask you, 'With what abiding did Master Gotama often remain during the Rains retreat?' — thus asked, you should answer them: 'The Blessed One often remained with concentration through in-&-out breathing during the Rains retreat'...
"Monks, if anyone speaking rightly were to described something as 'a noble dwelling,' 'a brahma-dwelling,' 'the Tathagata's dwelling,' he would, speaking rightly, describe concentration through mindfulness of in-&-out breathing as 'a noble dwelling,' 'a brahma-dwelling,' 'the Tathagata's dwelling.'
"Those monks who are trainees, yearning for the unexcelled relief from bondage, their aspirations as yet unfulfilled: for them concentration through mindfulness of in-&-out breathing, when developed & pursued, leads to the ending of the fermentations.
"As for those monks who are worthy ones, devoid of fermentations — who have attained completion, finished the task, laid down the burden, attained the true goal, destroyed the fetters of becoming, and are released through right knowledge: for them concentration through mindfulness of in-&-out breathing, when developed & pursued, leads to a pleasant dwelling here & now, and to mindfulness & alertness.
"If anyone speaking rightly were to described something as 'a noble dwelling,' 'a brahma-dwelling,' 'the Tathagata's dwelling,' he would, speaking rightly, describe concentration through mindfulness of in-&-out breathing as 'a noble dwelling,' 'a brahma-dwelling,' 'the Tathagata's dwelling.'"
And also, the Maha-Saccaka Sutta describes how the Buddha attained his Three Knowledges
Well you are talking about enlightenment from the Perspective of Theravanda while i am talking about it from the Diamond/Tantric perspective.
