Angel : Its too late to ask for ticket now, cos tickets got to queue at 7am at Kong Meng San on 8th May. If you are worrying about the transport back, tonite train and bus extend till 1.40am. Any other worries, than you might want to think about doing this ceremony. I have met some people who ask me precisely what time ends cos they wants to meet their boyfriends/girlfriends later, than I told them don't join in this ceremony, you just go and be a good girlfriend. I mean if you have a rush for time, then don't join in this ceremony. Because its best to do this ceremony without any rush or worry of mind. Its to repent and pay respect to buddha in all 10 directions. Its only 1 year Once. And I can't tell people exactly what times it ends, it depends on the situation at the temple later. So if you set your heart out to do this ceremony, just commit till the end regardless what time. Any other wish to join please call me direct 96868605. We be meeting 7pm tonite.   We arrived yesterday evevning around 10PM but my iphone battery run flat...waited till 2AM then we started..and ends around 4AM..

  how u feel? last year raining and was canceled but restarted around morning.  this year more and more people. good/joyous sign in a sense. just that waiting time longer. 230am reached, 4am start, ends around 6am. good workout though. :)

  I feel great. Will be back next year, I saw a couple whereby the mum is pushing a baby trolley and the father carrying his baby along.

  i saw an old lady, white hair, guess got around 60-70 yrs of age, doing standard 3 steps 1 bow!

  Yes I saw a lot of old men and old lady attending the ceremony. And also a mother carrying her baby along...

  ya that one i saw, really especially old.

  somemore strangest still, got saw teenages dressed like street punks; tatoos all over; "Ah beng, Ah Lian" doing it. somemore full prostration. hmm.. finished already start smoking. no comment....

  i roughly calculated. one 3 steps 1bow take about 20sec. if the whole thing last about 2 hrs, so a person is doing (2*60*60)/20=360 3steps 1bow.  about the no. of days in a year. :)
