this era is definitely not the right era for Buddha to appear.
Let say, if Buddha did not appear in 2500 years ago, but is born today in India, I wonder how Buddhism will begin from there.
This is a hypothetical question.
nowadays people where got so ''religious''..................
now is the worst time actually.................
so you are saying, even if Buddha is to appear now, Buddha efforts to propagate the dhamma will not be a success?
Even then in India, only one third actually tasted the teachings, another one third only smell it while the last one third of India citizen, did not even know there was a physical Buddha Sakaymun. The great ancestor of India has now become the ancestor of various race, class and language of living beings around the world except many India citizen lol.

Buddha better appear 2500 years ago than now. People nowadays do not have the same capacity and wisdom as those in the past. Technologically wise we have grown, spiritually wise we have degenerated, in terms of spiritual roots/capacity.
