Got my account suspended and downgraded to a guest with "restricted" access.. Heres what wizet has to say when I emailed them..

Please be informed that your Asiasoft Passport was suspended due to suspected to use fake registration details, therefore we require you to scan your National ID and email back to us for identity verification. If the details registered do not belong to you and is incorrect, please follow the below instructions to request for an update to these information,
For Singapore Base player
Please visit our Customer Service Centre with your National Identity / Student Pass (with photo) / NRIC. Do note that an administrative fee of SGD$5.00 will be liable for the updates.
So basically I have to BUY back my account for 5 dollars disguised cleverly as an "administrative fee". I do wonder if thats how non-paying players are treated? -
do mmake sure to ask them for privacy policies and what will your id/information be used for, how and who will get hold of them.
actually if i tiok i will jsut quit maple le. i don't believe in giving untrustable game companies personal details that they may sell or use in other ways. + i don't believe they need the information -
the story behnd maplestory is not becoming the best player but lvling up to see who can frozen by greedy asia soft corp

I have no idea why the company requires us to put our original IC to register an account just to play. =.=
And not to forget the "resetting" of their PIN number also requires a S$5, it is like a rip. -

Anyone notice the the word "suspected"???
It's not that they "confirmed"/ "proven"/ "found guilty of" you are using fake details.
It's "suspect" only.
They can suspect anyone.
and a suspect case require you to pay to getting out of being "suspected". -

Imagine those who have invested time and effort into playing the game or who made friends or what-not only to have it all taken away just because they were "suspected" of faking an IC? Its actually all fine to suspect but making the innocent party PAY for the "suspicion"?
Its like giving someone 10 years in jail just because he was "suspected" of robbery but later PROVEN innocent. To offset this, he had to pay S$50,000 for "administrative charges"? Like that I can run a business as the police detaining anyone and anybody without trial and then ask them to pay $$$ for "administrative charges" or go to jail.
You may argue and say that its only $5 for the time and effort but the whole point is its meant to be FREE and we are not suppose to PAY for something we DIDNT COMMIT. -

hey..i share similar experience...so i went down..ask him why my asiasoft suspeneded..and then he ask me for my ic..and activated my account..FOC..maybe u should go try...
