We are excited to bring you the third new world in MapleSEA on 5th December 2005. Meet Cassiopeia, the queen beauty of the new world!
What is Cassiopeia?
Cassiopeia is a brand new world starting with 20 new channels in MapleSEA. Cassiopeia is equivalent in every aspect to Aquila and Bootes, having the same maps, same NPCs and same quests. This new world provides more room for adventure in MapleSEA.
Why do I go Cassiopeia?
Exciting adventures awaits the brave travelers to Cassiopeia!
1. Do you feel crowded in Aquila and Bootes with the many advanced players? Everyone gets a fair chance to start a brand new adventure together in Cassiopeia.
2. Christmas comes early in Cassiopeia! Get the Christmas drops in Cassiopeia earlier than the other 2 worlds starting from 5th December 2005!
3. Get your Mark of the Beta in Cassiopeia now! This bandana will be issued by Nemi at Lith Harbour from 5 - 21 December 2005. It is the hat that all beginners should get!
4. With the blessing from Cassiopeia, the drops in this new world will be more bountiful! Enjoy two times drop rate from 19 - 4 January 2006.
5. Miss the fun of GM events? Join in the fun again and ring in the new year from 19 December 2005 - 23 December 2005! Get yourself chances to acquire rare items from the event!
6. Spot the snowboards in Cassiopeia during last week of the season! Check out the drops from 28 December 2005 - 4 January 2006!
How do I go to Cassiopeia? Will my character be reset?
If you are an existing player, your current character(s) will remain as they are, in Aquila and Bootes. You may use your existing Maple account to visit Cassiopeia. A new registration is not needed unless you are new to MapleStory.
Simply select Cassiopeia when you are in the "World Selection" screen. When you first log in, there are no characters in this world. Not to worry as your existing characters are still safe in Aquila and Bootes. In Cassiopeia, you will have to start with new character(s), which means with 1 MapleStory account, you can now create 9 characters (3 in each world).
Can my existing characters train in Cassiopeia?
Existing character(s) in Aquila and Bootes are not transferable to Cassiopeia. You will need to start a new character in Cassiopeia. So, if the traffic is too heavy for you in Aquila and Bootes, you may find it easier to train your new character in Cassiopeia! Likewise, Cassiopeia character will not be able to move to Aquila or Bootes.
Can my IGNs in Aquila and Bootes be used in Cassiopeia?
Your IGNs in Aquila and Bootes are protected. Therefore, they will not be usable in Cassiopeia.
