Singapore's east-side is the best...

  Yeah east side is better than west side
  
  Even though west sides probably has more shopping centres and stuff (eg west mall, Juro east entertainment, jurong pt, imm, lot 1, bukit panjang plaza, bukit timah plaza(king albert park), chinese gardens, turf club, clementi, bird park, science centre, farms(qian hu), discovery centre, west coast park, ginza plaza), most of these places are just second-rated shopping centres/places of interest.. When 10pm comes, all these shopping centre closed. No night life.
  
  People would still need to east side for the top class facilities. (escape theme park, chalet, airport, expo, national stadium, GEYLANG, east coast park)
  
  Not to mention CBD is marginally nearer to the east side than the west side.

  Up the activity rating!!! I love the east side btw, though i was borned in the west, i grew up in the east.

  Actually Bukit Panjang and Bukit Timah should be considered Central-North and Central.
