singapore is slowly becoming a touristy trap in many areas... i lament the loss of Arab Street to the semi-sentient morons who run LTA and STB... they changed an authentic place into a half-dead tourist trap.. worse, now it's falling apart (remember the Nicoll Highway collapse?)

No I'm not afraid to say anything.. it's just that, I really can't think of anything to say, unless you're asking me to discuss proper issues. But then again, I'd write a much better essay than talk about it, cos basically I'm not a very verbal person
So faaaar... there's only one person whom I can talk to about aaaaaaaaaanything under the sun... but...... lost contact.
these areas.. so focused on attracting tourists, that locals don't give a damn about those places anymore, and the local flavor is lost because people just want to give those tourists a safe, clean and tidy image.. it's so.. not-the-Singapore-way-of-life. -

thanks mookie for your concern... it does seem i am sick all the time.. gastric, irritatable bowel syndrome, flu, cough, sore throat, and today, got headache and pukey feeling the whole day..... still not gone yet.. grrrrr.......
