You could go, for the sake of going. Ocean Park mainly showcases marine animals. There's a theme park... rides are not spectacular, lower standard than Australian theme parks.
Island hopping would be interesting.
Summer sale's the best time to hit the shops. Almost every MTR stop has a shopping district, so you can't go wrong. There are also fashion distribution centers... something like wholesalers, but they're harder to find.

and can see HK & Kowloon fm the peak, beautiful view at night (that is if..not foggy at that nite).
