  sheeesh, to make my fishtank low-maintenance, I used to have nothing but the fishes, filter, fluorescent light and a waterplant. Now that the water plant has died, it's all empty inside save for water and fishes.

  Actually I'd intended to put small stones in my tank and include a small prawn to eat up the dirt... but it's quite troublesome to maintain. The prawns are cute!

  bought 5 or 6 goldfishes. 3 died. heart ached everytime 1 did. i wanted to bury it because i felt animals are living things too.

  well, i was there for one of the years and the guys there said that it was uncleaned for the 4 years before..
  
  worse, there were mosquitoes trying to breed in the tank and one of the idiots at work sprayed some Baygon in gap in the tank.. the mosquitoes died, the guppies ate the dead mosquitoes, and nothing happened...
  
  i think the fish in the tank mutated along the way
  
  anyhoooo... this saturday, how?
  
  i got a chiropractor's appointment at Forum at 12:15pm which will be all done by 12:35...

  I went to Sam Yick's yesterday and was told by the store assistant that I shouldn't put puffers and neontetras together...
  
  And i finally got a smaller water plant to replace the one that died.

  heh heh .... we kinda found out the hard way last week .... don noticed the puffer was making sharp darting movements among the tetras & discovered the fella was taking nips at the tetra tails!
  
  we suspect maybe he's a lil too hungry but the lady at sam's told me they occasionally become agressive but it pasts ...
  
  in any case he's now in isolation lol
