Money commonly root of most problems. When comes to money matters with friends its always very hard to handle. Think you should talk to yr ex housemate, show them the bills etc and hopefully they are 'good' enough to have some conscience to pay you back.
Go enjoy the show. If the guy insists in giving you a good treat even after you said its not necessary.. thn by all means, go have a good time with him.
I just treated a gal to a $130 dinner without her asking. Good treats does not restrict to just bf/gf. As long as both parties enjoy the event.. why let money issues spoil the event.

rite loh, once in a while still ok lar.Originally posted by choco B:Girl... Enjoy what he wants to give you. This being the first stages of a relationship the guy wants to do things right and make you happy - let him! Be a graceful date and that's all the reward he'll ask for. :]

I understand you worry about his extravagence... I think one night out on the town is acceptable. It's a problem only if he splurges very frequently.
yea..if i can find one wif a bigger board, it will be perfect alreadyOriginally posted by Kenashi:come to think of it, it did seemed to be very crowded for the chess pieces siah.
U can just comb around for something similar.

thanks for your advice. I do feel better now. Talked to him again just now before he went for work...and he told me the same thing. He told me to enjoy the show, since I was the one who wanted to watch it so much. So now I can enjoy it all the more since it is really the front and center row. Said it was quite hard to get the ticket for that row...so yea I will not let anything spoil this for us.Originally posted by X-men:Studied hard for an exam yet mess it up sure don't feel good but then what's done cannot be undone.

I hope it is extendable. I will ask the seller later...thanks for your opinionOriginally posted by choco B:First set looks more classic
The chess board should be extendable. It should open up to be as big as the one in picture two. Better check with seller about this.
