I don’t recall seeing Tian Bao kills Robert; only hear the sound of gun shot.
That means Robert didn’t die loh. So I guess Robert turned over a new leaf later and fell in love with Yue Niang. They got married and Yue Niang became the stepmother of Robert and Yu Zhu’s son. That’s why Robert appears at the last scene (when Yue Niang died) ;-)

No 1 - 5, except 3 all got the same ending: Chen xi and Yueniang got together eventually, just that how they got together was different.. but the ending is still the same.
So i guess the scriptwriter chose the odd one out, no. 3. Maybe becos he wants sth different. Most audience will expect yueniang and chen xi to be tgt, and he wanted to give it a twist. So..
But the ending is still a lil confusing. How did yue niang end up with Paul (she married paul if im not wrong)?
So felicia didnt noe who her father was until the end when xiang yun told her isit?

Actually if it was me, i wud have chosen ending no. 4 cos its more bittersweet.
Sometimes an ending too good all the way also not good, at least must have some bitterness and surprises.. Ending 4 is the best cos it will surprise the audience to think that yueniang has already died.. But she reveals in the end that she's stil alive to chen xi and chenxi also tot yueniang was dead and almost died in the hospital. Upon knowing she's stil alive, he miraculously recovers and they got back together..
And they lived happily ever after, cos yueniang's mum, ju xiang also got to marry shan ben yang jie which is the guy she loved.. yueniang shud also get the same fate.. and not marry someone she dun like.. lidat is too cruel to her liao..

ystrdy me read the chinese papers - the scriptwriter said he wldnt hv changed the ending eben if he knew wat the viewers wanted becoz he's the scriptwriter aft all.
but today me read the english papers - he said dat if he knew a happy endin was wat the viewers wanted, he wld hv written it dat way becoz it's meant for us.
wth... he got spilt personality or kena farked by his boss?

I think the chinese papers are the real words he said, as for the english, he's just faking by saying it cos he wudn't want to offend ppl.. as most ppl read eng newspapers.. only the minority read chinese.. so ppl willl think he's truly cared for us audiences..
BUT..
if he had rly cared for us viewers, he wud have started a poll long ago, either put it on the Web or broadcast it on tv to let us choose wad kind of ending we like .. just like last time there was one show.. i can't rmb liao.. isit Qian Nian CHong (Y2K) or sth? They also got an ending which allow viewers to choose.. and the desired ending wud be screened out at a later time.. That idea was quite cool actually as it allows viewers to also participate not just by watching only..
Anw, this scriptwriter rly sucks. A real fcuker indeed!

The Sunday's 《月娘与陈锡�逢篇》is damn extra. What's wrong with Chen Xi and Yueniang each finding his/her own happiness? I'm perfectly happy with the ending.
