Forrest Gump - excellent portrayal of a mentally challenged, happy-go-lucky person by Tom Hanks.
I Am Sam - touching performance by Sean Penn & Dakota Fanning.
Mystic River - another one of Sean Penn's masterpiece, this time as a mafia boss.
Hero - Jet Li, Tony Leung, Maggie Cheung, Zhang Zi Yi & Donny Yen. The cast alone is worth the admission price.

Fav. action movie - Starwars, esp. the old trilogy, at that time when they dun have computer effects like now, it's really great to create such scene without the help of computer effects.
Fav. comedy - "Lu Ding Ji" by Stephen Chow Sing Chi, i just like his kind of "wu li tou" culture, that movie is my fav out of all his movies.
Fav. touching stories - A.I. , it's just great, very meaningful, visually entertaining with those effects, touching, great acting skill by a kid. -
haha.. i like those deuce bigalow, american pie, harold and kumar goes off to white castle kinda show.

Star Wars - The story. The special effects esp the one that was made in 1977 when computer graphics was not invented. The way the good guy and the bad fought with light saber as well as the X-Wing vs Darthvader battle.

Ghost - Very touching. Demi Moore was beautiful even when she was crying. This movie made me want to fall in love again.
After he's murdered, a young executive attempts to communicate with his girlfriend through a phony psychic.
Pretty Woman. - Nothing much about the story. But it's very lighthearted.
The Pygmalion-like transformation of a young Los Angeles prostitute given $3000 to spend the week with a wealthy businessman.
Father of the Bride - warmheartening comedy which gave me the urge to get married....hehehe.
A remake of the 1950's Spencer Tracy / Elizabeth Taylor classic in which an ordinary guy has to take on the planning, expense, and complications of his daughter's wedding. Martin Short appears in the hilarious role of the wedding coordinator while Steve Martin has one of his best roles as the man who realizes his little girl is all grown up.
Awakenings - Robin Williams has always been good. To make it even more worth watching this, Robert De Niro played the role of Robin's patient.
Based on the true story of a research physician who uses an experimental drug to "awaken" the catatonic victims of a rare sleeping sickness. The first patient to receive the drug (De Niro in an astounding performance) is filled with awe and enthusiasm that teaches the introverted doctor to value life's simple pleasures. Academy Award Nominations: 3, including Best Picture, Best Actor--Robert De Niro, Best (Adapted) Screenplay. -

Sixth Sense - Not so much for the sppoky scene of dead people. In fact I don't enjoy them at all. But I am very touched by the unspoken love between the mother and the child and between Bruce and his wife. The most amazing this is the way the movie ended.... it was totally unexpected, full of surprises.
A boy who communicates with spirits that don't know they're dead seeks the help of a disheartened child psychologist (Bruce Willis) . -
The Others - The initial bit was kinda dry. But the ending was just as unexpected as Sixth Sense. The story makes me wonder if in real life, the dead people know they are dead or they do not.
THE OTHERS begins with a close-up of a woman screaming. By the time this intense film ends, everyone watching it will be screaming and gasping. Nicole Kidman stars as Grace, a woman raising two children by herself in a creepy mansion. World War II is over, but Grace's husband never returned. Meanwhile, the two children, Anne and Nicholas, must constantly stay in the dark because they are deathly allergic to light. Then one day three people show up to take over for Grace's disappeared staff, and trouble starts to brew. The odd trio--an aging nanny, an elderly gardener, and a young mute girl--seems to have a slightly different agenda than Grace and the children do. But when Anne starts talking to strange, unseen people, the scares start building to an incredible climax. -

I like The Pianist for the excellent cinematography and screenplay. And also of course the acting from Adrien Brody was very good.
Scent of A Woman. For the strong acting from Al Pacino.
Gone With The Winds. Basically this movie brings me back to the past era. It's classic and romantic. It's like...transport me to another time.
Tears of The Black Tiger. A great Thai movie with unique setting. It's a bit artsy.
I recommend them all to all of you! -

Clerks: this is legendary.. no budget movie, which tells of a day in the life of a store clerk.. can't take your eyes off it...
All The President's Men: tells of Watergate as it happened... we need another one now with Bush
Chungking Express: quirky, strange, compelling..
and most of all...
Casablanca: to me, the most amazing love story ever told...
