hi guys,
im 23 this year , with a diploma in IT and im looking for a full time, permanent job which has great advancement and prospect.
i only have sales experience on IT hardware eqps previously when i was doing it for part-time/events ( ITshow, comex, etc)
I wanted to try office job, general IT. but the employers are mostly looking for someone with experience. if i were to work IT office, I would probably need training to get me back on track. Im really rusty with computing stuff that i've learned in my poly days.
recently i just started work (less than a week) as fashion retail entry level, and i am wondering if it's the right choice in the long run..
tbh, im really shocked that 90% of my coworkers are foreigners.. even the asst manager.. its like im the only foreigner there.
so my qns is.. does fashion retail has a good career prospect? which job has good prospects in sg? any advice?
I really think that I should work something that is beneficial long term. career building wise.
i dont really mind long hours or low starting pay, as long as I can feel that im learning something and in the long run. I will become someone whom the company values.
thanks for any advice.

I think finanical-related jobs would be stable, in retail, my guess is you will only be busy during weekend if you know what I mean! http://www.efinancialcareers.sg
You can also take up apprenticeship program like the 'Jedi Masters Program (JuMP)' to learn from visual effects to animation or game production if you want to upgrade your IT skill and not let it becoming 'rusty'! http://www.lasjedi.com
