Research shows that these are the top 5 reasons that college graduates failed to impress employers:
1) Increased competition
2) Little or no work experience
3) No skills,
4) Bad resume
5) No interview skills
Have you been applying to more than 50 jobs however none of the employer replied you? Have you been to interviews but never get the job at the end? If so, do you think the job market competition IS the sole factor to blame?
Let's see how good you are at answering interview questions!
Q1. Introduce yourself. Talk me through you background and tell me something interesting about yourself.
Q2. Give me 3 of your strengths and 3 weaknesses.
Q3. Give me a situation where you have to convince members in your team a new way of working in order to achieve a goal. What was the situation? What were the objectives needed to be achieved? What did you do and what was the end result?
Q4. How would you sell a fridge to an eskimo?
Q5. You have 17 red and 17 blue balls, and you remove 2 at a time. If the two are the same colour, add in on extra blue abll. If they are different colours, add in an extra red ball. What colour is the final ball removed?

lol.
I remember when I graduated in Scotland in 2013, I went back to Hong Kong for job hunting.
I had my first ever job interview with AIA on the first day I landed. I didn't sleep for about 30 hours and I went to the job interview. I failed that interview so badly! The interviewer did not even shake my hand after the interview. (I interviewed for a sales position and you know how sales people are like :P)
But I am glad to say that, I am now able to answer all the questions listed above well. Since I joined my current consultancy firm in 2014 and had around 10 job interviews within 3 months.
For my current role in SG, I had the 1st and 2nd interview within 3 days after my application and got the job on my 4th day.

Think this is why graduates struggling to find a job lol
.
If the job nature is technical, most probably in the interview, the employer would require you to take an test and the questions is of course based on their work scope and from there on they would 'judge' you whether you have the experience or the knowledge they are looking for, unless you are looking for an intern position then it depend whether the company staff whether they want to guide you or not.(And we are taling about small allowance here )
For corporate like sales, most probably during interview, the companies would check if you get 'network' like your warm lead - family and friends etc for your 'business', if your earning is from commission then no basic salary etc so need to have 'enough' saving of your own, then if you are into insurance they will check whether if already passed M5,M8,M9 examination or for property would be RES Examination etc.

Ans : Red ball. Reasoning: Following the path of highest probability, first draw would be (r,b). So -(r,b), +1 r. box left with 17r, 16 b, 33 balls in total. 2nd draw : (r,r) and (r,b) have equal chances of occuring. (b,b) lowest chance. By charting the paths of the highest probability draws and their outcomes, we will notice that, by the 4th draw, all outcomes will be the same: 15r, 15b, 30 balls in total, and only one subsequent highest probability draw : (r,b). This mirrors the starting scenario when : ratio r:b = 1,1 and subsequent draw =(r,b). hence 4 draws = 1 cycle. 34 draws, so 8 complete cycles which means 32 draws. After the 32th draw, box left with 2 balls; 1r , 1b, as predicted in the pattern of the cycle. next draw (r,b). add one red ball. No choice, next draw that sole red ball is removed.
Pardon me if im wrong, i could have made a careless mistake in my working. If this is an interview question, it would be rather impossible to answer on the spot. i had to use pen and paper to work this out, and it took me quite awhile.
Lol
