Hello,
I would like to ask you about remote jobs in Singapore. I want to live in Cambodia and work remotely in Singapore, as software engineer. Are companies likely to make remote work possible (provided I have university degree, various certificates and several years of professional experience, including the UK)? What are the laws governing double taxation avoidance (in order not to pay taxes in two countries)?
Thank you!
PS Sorry for not creating new thread but this forum did not allow me to do that without 8 posts.

I don't really understand your statement there, "I want to live in Cambodia and work remotely in Singapore..." I mean if you want to work in remote Singapore from Cambodia, you need to live in Singapore or live in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. And you still need accomodation in Singapore or Johor Bahru during your work week unless you intend to fly back to Cambodia every weekends. It's not possible for you to fly and commute on daily basis to and fro between Cambodia and Singapore.
About the income taxation I can give you an example. Singapore and Malaysia have this agreement about Malaysians working in Singapore. The Malaysian workers only pay income tax to Singapore and they are exampted from income taxation in Malaysia. I'm not sure about Cambodia and Singapore whether they have any agreement on this matter. However, since January 2016, the ASEAN economics community have this agreement of allowing the movement and employment of corporate management/executives within ASEAN more easier.
