Getting into accountancy with unrelated degree

Hi all, I am currently studying Maths and Econs in ntu with GPA of 3.3, graduating in 2015. I'm planning to go into accounting after i graduate. I know with my unrelated degree, its impossible to get an accounting job with it. Can anyone suggest the route i should take? I was thinking to get a very basic accounting job to start off ( the kind which only require simple data entry and keying of account payables), get some experience for a couple of years and then enrol in a master in accountancy programme, like the one in smu. Would that be wise? Anyone from the accounting industry can give me some insights?
Sadly, for the past 3 years, i've just been cruising through uni, only recently then i started thinking of my future career. Better late than never i guess..
