Hi all, just like to find out from experienced guys here- If I am currently holding a temp job which I am not gonna stay till the contract period is up, according to the contract, I will have to serve a notice and pay a compensation to the company for leaving prematurely. However, is the compensation supposed to be paid on the last day of service or when the resignation letter is tendered?
if u dont turn up the last day of work (of cos, means no want pay the compensation), wat can theco. do?
Thanks for the fast response FireIce! Hmm I wonder about that too.. But most prob will take legal action. Im prepared to pay since I dont wish to serve till the end of contract but I just wanna know if I have to pay when I tender or on my last day of service as it might prolong my stay since I need more time to cough out the money if I have to pay when I tender.. :)
