Hi guys,
I am entering university in august so I found a 6 month contract job as admin assistant and they are paying me at $1900 per month with annual leave, medical leave, sponsored medical GP bills and a month bonus pay after completion of contract (effectively $2200 per month).
I am a fresh diploma holder only experience in work is during NS 2 years as admin support. Is the above pay around or below the market rate for fresh diploma holder with limited experience?
Appreciate your advice on the market rate for diploma holders.
Thank you.
it is very high for a dip holder
grab it
Thanks for the advice, I have already signed the contract on thursday. (:
Anyone have anymore valuable advice as to whether I was right to take the job?

Very high. You will make some people with admin experience very jealous.
Your pay is way way above the market rate.
Are you serious? What is the current market rate?
Can be as low as like $1,100.
You are lucky. Which company is that, is that govt or govt related?
Nope it is a MNC company, I got a offer of $1700 from a govt company. Diploma holder can get as low as $1,100? Then what are the A levels and O levels getting? Haha.
Nowadays, most jobs go to people waiting for results and fresh school leavers.
"A" an "O" levels - depends on which companies but normallly they get lesser than what you are paid.
Is that Canon?
Nope, its not canon. I cant reveal the company name as it is against the contract regulations. All I can say that it is a very famous MNC company. (:
must be google
Haha. Its not google, I told my friend abt the job and he say that the pay is okay so-so nia.
I every month take back home only $1520 after cpf deduction excluding bonus. :(
Anyone has any comments or experiences to share?
