wow... so this is the kind of job that we have in the market? and they said the coming in of foreign workers are to make the employment market more vibrant?
sad huh? We don't have equal employment opportunities and in this case, Singaporeans don't even stand a chance.
maybe they know Singapore is flooded with PRCs?
You throw a stone down from your apt, you can probably hit a PRC walking by.
Be more reasonable, there are thousands of jobs out there which require Singaporean only. Of course when M&C International intends to expand its business in China, it will prefer native PRCs for the positions as sales managers as they are the ones who know China Society and Culture better.
It's normal to have more Singaporeans job in Singapore. Isn't it strange if we advertise in Shanghai and only looking for "native Singaporeans who are effectively bilingual", when there are also plenty of PRCs who can speak good English these days.
This is the case here in Singapore when M&C post such advertisement.
Its just one of those errors where the advert could be posted wrongly by the dept. Nowsadays, got so many companies using online job sites to post their adverts, they eventually lose track of what they post. It could have been just a simple option of "check all southeast asia countries".
We greatly appreciate the feedback on our recent job posting. The company practises fair employment and we regret the posting of the advertisement in this manner. We have since amended it and will ensure that future recruitment advertisements will be closely reviewed before posting. Thank you.

Lemme guess..... another case of 'wrong template' being used?
