hi, I am applying for a position in a polytechnic. Two weeks after the second interview, I checked with the HR. They told me that I am shortlisted but the MOE approval is pending; as soon as the procedure is finished, they will inform me. Now more than four weeks have passed since my interview and there is no information.
Does it take so much time for polytechnic to prepare the documents to recruit a new staff? Anyone has similar experience?
During the interview, did you happen to ask if the hiring is immediate or for pooling? If its for immediate hiring then certainly, 1 month is a lot of time.
