Waiters/ Waitresses' Wages

  Hi I am a 19 year old singaporean girl, first year in SMU doing accounting and might be getting a job for the next vacation. I am just wondering how much do waiters/ waitresses earn in Singapore? Do they earn any tips at all? Appreciated your helps xxoo :)

  By right, the service charge aka service commission goes to you, which is 10% every customer. Now, not many restaurant will give you the commission. Instead, they provide you with meals and break time.

  Try to see if you can find some internal job in the SMU itself....for example as a librarian or something....because usually universities give special rates for students......better than outside.

  why not do an accounting job? waiting pay is really low.
