  You sure or not. Why would employers be willing to pay $3000 for foreign cleaners, and not be willing to pay beyond $1400 for locals?

  And how come you say pay $3000 for foreigners, when the first paragraph indicates that they are only paying $650-750?

  unless, the figures are in RMB, and that would make more sense.

  But if so, it means that changi airport is only willing to pay RMB1400 = SGD 280 for locals. In that case, they can seriously go F**K themselves.

  They rather pay SGD$650-750 for foreigners than and SGD$280 for locals. for 44hrs/week job.

  Its really a disgrace for Changi airport, taking pride in being a first-class service provider, but is only willing to pay third-class salaries.

  Actually most of the clearer job are done by older aunts and uncles, or mentally retarded.

  Very rarely, I see PRC doing this kind of job. This is because the pay is very low.

  Usually it is the man who come out to Singapore to work. If you are a guy, you can do construction work or other work which requires more physical but higher pay. Pay is number one. The young girls usually can work as beer lady which are paid even more.

  So why work as a cleaner?

  It is actually 2 different stories, there is no slightest link in these 2 stories.. The first story having Changi airport as pay master. The second story having a cleaning company being quoted as an employer. All monies stated were in SGD.

  $3000 garbage cleaner (those foreginers cleaning the gargage dump), would any singaporean want the job? umm...
