I am 48, an experienced trainer who had travelled globally conducting technical trainings in mobile devices including features, USPs and even repair.
I had also delivered training through both Face-to-Face as well as Web Training.
Very familiar with mobile devices
My contracted ended last Nov 2010 and I am still jobless.
I have a full WSQ ACTA (Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment) and also an ITC in Electronics Engineering.
I am willing to even start from scratch in sales of mobile devices, accessories, etc.
If anyone of you knows of any suitable job for me, please recommend to me.
Thank you in anticipation
Free bump for you~
When one reaches 40 and above, it is very difficult to get a job with the same pay or even lower cos many companies still prefer younger generation.
Even if on reaches 50, is it getting more tougher.
Anyway, I wish you luck in getting one asap.
Dont give up hope.

PAP's slogan of no retirement age does not work.
Everybody knows it cannot works. Only slogan.
In real life, employers 200% prefer young blood with cheap cheap flithy salary package.
Most of the local typical manager act this way.
They dont care whether you have enough to feed your family or not.
48 a bit hard to find job in sg.
But there are many job opportunities in third world countries. My company temporary seconded me to cambodia, they need a lot of skilled workers. So over here i met a lot of asian expats from singapore, malaysia, vietnam, thailand, philipinnes and india. I go to the local pubs and chat with them, they all have the same story, they didn't get the job opportunties and biz was hard to do in their own country but when they came here, they found a lot of job and biz opportunities because this is a new market. Cambodia is growing but a lot of their people still uneducated so they need foreign experts to help them.
Overall life here is ok, got entertainment from night clubs and pubs. Got close knit of expats here as well.
if he is willing to take those low pay and long hours job like waiter, sales assistant, security guard etc should be ok.
if not go work as taxi or bus driver
Finally, I found a job.
Thanks to all for your kind advice.
