Our media like TV and newspaper are effective brainwashing tools. Alot of older generation everyday got brainwashed. Some young ppl are politically apthatic so voting time they see PAP logo familiar so cross.

I agreed with the addition of foreigners to enhance the exposure and competition but not to replace the local.
The things that the father and son team are saying for the past two days are the same.
They are not going to do anything regarding the population explosion and transport fee increase since both issues put more money into the elite class of the society.
Prepared to be suck dry for the next four years.
There will not be any 2016.

what the FT policies rolled out lack assurances back to the people....
the system has to deliver good concrete packages as a form of ROI so that people could see the increase in income/ assets with the advent of FT influx....since it is the people that comes as first priority....deliver the promises and FT policies would be welcomed...
for years, with the increased competitiveness and growth in economy, peoples' income are still shortcoming to overcome the rise in the costs of living....
the system would need to work out such packages and return it back to the people....simple annual couple of hundreds are not going to work....

the system has always been geared towards entrepreneurial flair to sustain its own economic growth..so are the people who are equally driven towards such business mindsets to survive and sustain along with such growth...
if it is run like a business enterprise to see ROI as the main determinant..well, the people in such system would expect to receive equal rates of ROI....
then, thats what we call in tandem to the peoples' interests...we simply cannot say we cannot help the situation....
the innovative spirit of the high paid system is much needed....
