Pay Range: $1.5k & up depending on experience.
Jobscope
• Responsible for resolving end user computing problems reported, as well as, teaching technology related support
• Ensure service availability with minimal interruption to business
• Observe and ensure internal SLA compliance
• Contribute to development of a knowledge base (Step-by-Step)
• Summarise tasks status at end of each business day for overall team task summary
• Engage all tasks via the completion of Service Request form and take ownership of tasks from the Information Management System (IMS).
• Lead efforts to enhance service delivery and streamline processes
• Perform any change requests on user systems
• Identify root causes of reported issues to eliminate recurrence.
• Undertake problem management
• Assist student in configuring their personal notebooks to interoperate with institution network services
• Provide user briefing and user familiarization seminars/session
• Refresh of computer contents and rooms during term break
• IT / AV asset relocation
• Conducting IT/AV audit from time to time
• Perform toner replacement
• IT data and electrical cabling tidiness to facilitate maintenance and user safety
• Standby duties to facilitate a session involving usage of IT/AV technologies
• AV support in teaching spaces; including LT, studio and boardroom
• Twice a year hard disk cloning to facilitate maintenance
• Assist in password resetting
• Seek approval for operational requirement as an exception via IT Operations Manager
• Image cloning, clean up and restoration of desktop in studios during term break
• Facilitate password change
• Assist in personal notebook configurations
• Assist in relocating computer and AV equipments.

• Own a user problem, tracking from task initiation till completion
• Ensure minimal interruptions to business operation via deployment of interim service
• Always check IMS for open and un-owned tasks
• Work within policies and procedures set forth by the college and in its absence to escalate it for one to be developed and adopted
• Ensure users are appraised of a task status at regular intervals
• Ensure customer service is always at high level
• Perform task analysis based on past tasks history and adopt a proactive stance in service delivery
• Good spoken and written English
