Why does this company keep hiring? Sometimes the same position(s) stretching several months.
Is the company "problematic"? Does it have a high staff turnover problem? Any insider story?
You're not the "type" of worker they want.
i'm in the oil industry and i have had dealings with Brightoil. Short and simple, feedbacks from externally and internally, Brightoil sucks. my experience with them puts me to grief too. their reputation is really bad... owe plenty of money to lots of service providers up to a year... late in all sorts of things...
these are what i heard from the people working there: depends on what post u want la... if finance, dominated by prc culture ... all chinese speaking, typing, reading, bla bla bla... sg people no say one. shipping side.. no strong backbone to back their team. trader... filled with PMS snobish traders who treat people like dogs. ops... bao mountain bao sea type.. ops manager and director dont help or cover for their own operators... i have met the ops director before... he is an angmo... his forehead have a big 'hypocrite' wording the first time i met him. no wonder the people in Brightoil calls him the cobra.. haha.
people in there are dying to get out..and the turnover rate i heard is super high... even when counter offer them to stay up to twice the salary... people still choose to leave. whenever i mention Brightoil .. everyone jitao say 'DONT GO!!' or 'BE CAREFUL WHEN DEALING WITH THEM!'
