Singapore Job Market Today - Am I Eligible?

Hi fellas,
I'm an Indonesian currently in Dubai and bumped onto one of those bad walls which are common here. In short, this place is definitely not for me (and many other people).
Now I am looking for an opportunity to move to Singapore. Knowing that entering Singapore is not easy, I'd like to know what you'd say about how good or how bad my chance is. Please visit my online resume here. Please noted that I dropped out from my university and only holding a certificate.

yes, to an extent. To cut costs.
And its the unrelenting influx of foreign workers like yourself that makes locals jobless.

if u are from indonesia and have worked in dubai.then it must be hell for u.i have heard most bosses in dubai yell,beat,rape and do everything thats horrid to their foreign workers daily and very often police would arrest innocent foreign workers n throw them in prison.
currently spore is overheated as they got in more than a million foreign werkers from overaseas and destroying salary packages .
we would love to welcome u but spore has way too many foreign werkers from lack of control.pretty much like a guy eating too much food and vomitting due to eating too much food during a meal.spore is presently undergoing great chaos in employement sector where foreigh werkers strike it out in a mob outside government buildings in past and citizens yelling where are the jobs thats supposed to keep them afloat for the present n future.

Based on your experience, these are the few that I can think off.

read from newspapers that an aussie manager was raped by 3 arab men in dubai.all were her colleagues.
she was drugged and sexually abused by the men.she reported it to the police and she was arrested n imprisoned for many months for adultery.she had sex with married men...and she was a single 29 year old blonde from australia.
many other horror stories from expats in dubai.
this dubai sounds like a hell on earth.

Elite: Frankly speaking, some of those bad stories are true, according to some journalists. Once there's a depth report regarding blue collar life here which blasted me to the corner big time. But it never comes up to the surface. I haven't witnessed or heard from any victims directly.
Darkness: Wow, big thanks for the figures fella! Lemme take my calculator and start measuring this and that just to see how well I'd fit Sg ;)

Dubai is bad, cose women have no status in the society like those ancient times. Blue collar is like slave. I am not surprise if whip is being used to make them work harder.

ODD....why would someone from indonesia in dubai keep calculating his /her salary in spore employment and be oblivious to the spore educated citizens plight of poor jobs n salary.
i honestly wouldnt want u to werk in spore really.its the human factor....u might be ju st another foreugner coming into spore....killing s poreans in order so that u might live another day.
best if u head back to indonesia and work .

u do know there are many sporeans educated with degree and somewhere that level without a job in spore!too many foreigners swamping their resumes into spore until sporean is buried under tons of resume.

Lokey: Yes, Dubai is bad, worse than I thought it would be. Still, surviving is my middle name. Though I prefer moving on. Fingers crossed.
Elite: I am doing my research, including collecting and calculating all information (not only salary figures), I don't think there's something odd about it. And I posted a message previously (which was deleted by system/moderator), asking for everyone's point of view regarding best countries to move to nowadays, maybe Thai? Vietnam? etc. So, don't worry, I am not going to steal anything from Singapore, I am just researching opportunities, not only in Singapore. That's why I joined the forum instead of mass-sending my CV.
Indonesia? nothing wrong with it, but I have preferences, just like everybody else.

sporeans are busy trying to solve problems in spore.we dont need someone from indonesia to come obver to spore and not fight for it.why should spore get u in?currently they dump people from overseas and not allow permits.after the elections when spore are fighting hand and tooth for their jobs and future in spore ...yer prospects of getting job in spore will be even slimmer.
sporeans fight it out in spore for our jobs n salary expectations even though some are overseas even!we fight for our country from economic to military issues!!!

in singapore..sporeans normally fight for their fu ture in spore.
what are u doing in singapore then if u are not fighting for singapore?a job alone and resume isnt considered a fight but rather a gift from another country!
go home to indonesia and build yer future there.

by u coming to spore,u are upsetting the balance here.and it has destroyed countless generations of singaporeans with many foreign workers in spore.
u are taking away jobs from spore.....these jibs were created from the blood and sweat of citizen soldiers....countless tears n toil studying ina no nonsense examination system....and all u need to do is come in waltz in here and take it?
there are many overqualified folks in spore most immigrated to usa and other countries.why?because theuir pay was so bad as an engineer or manager they were driven to that stage?and why is their pay bad?cuz foreigners came in werked 24hrs a dy ..spoilt the labour market and destroyed the fabric of spore market forever.
foreigers have overfished in spore....at thew expense of sporeans and their entire family and generations!

You can make more money in Dubai than in Singapore.
Make it there and then return to INDONESIA..
Don't come to Singapore as a parasite but do come as a tourist.

Mancha: yes, I have done that :) I spent a lot already in Sg. Anyways, like I said, I am not targetting Singpaore in particular. Looks like the situations are not favorable for both locals and expats.
