Since young, I've always love playing video games. I had the old 8Bit Nintendo, then Sega 16Bit, Playstation, Playstation 2 and now Playstation 3 and PSP. I also getting Nintendo Wii soon.
My friend encouraged me to work in a video game shop since I have a passion for it. My concern is that Im worried shops selling video games may not last long and close down soon. Now that the piracy days are over, maybe the shops can make more money and now games are way cheaper than it used to be. Of course I would love to be surrounded by my hobby and share my knowledge about it to customers.
Another worry is they might pay low and no AWS since all games shops are small companies. Any of you work in a game shop or have friends working there?
if your machines are still in playable condition, set up a small museum and offer those toys for display or charge people a fee to relive the old days of those toys..
i still remember sega satan or something like that..
maybe you like to try taking your idea and hobby to a new level by collecting olden games and renting a small office and charge people to play your toys(games) for those who are keen..
that's how you can keep a job while you still get paid.
