read ST today that due to improved economy and unemployment rate is 2.1%, lowest for the past 2 years. alot of people job hopped around, read one chap who worked in investment banking, got a 25% pay hike to join a rival bank.
is it time to job hop for better prospect and pay? you bet!

You believe what ST published about the unemployment rate and the crap that it is the lowest for the past 2 years. I think this is referring to the foreigners.
Never take what ST publishes seriously, take it with a pinch of salt. Election is coming soon. The authority overseeing the SPH/ST is making the job market look good for the sake of election.
You can job hop there is no fast and hard rule about it, tell us your outcome.

did this figure cover all of singaporeans? i bet they can;t check the number of foreigners versus sgreasn iin all comppanies in spore so why bother? statistics and figures not important anymore, and my vote for this coming elections' already sealed. i will have a little respect for the white sif at leadst they save my time for a wlak over at my area. -
